A million selftapes, assignments and side quests later... an update.

… I'm back. I know, I'm very aware. I looked at the last publish date on my Blogger dashboard and cringed so hard at myself.

Over the last 2 months I have been hard at work auditioning for all sorts of theatre programs (and getting rejected by the vast majority of them, sadly). I'm hoping for a breakthrough with either the University of West London, the University of Central Lancashire or the University of Chichester. With musical theatre though, there's no knowing what the course directors want. Do they need a voice that's already perfectly trained (which I definitely do not have)? Or are they looking for dancers who can do split-leaps (which I definitely cannot)? Or do they want exceptional actors who already have every technique down (how is that even possible)?

All I know that I am a mediocre combination of the three, and then I'm languishing somewhere between academics, vocal practice and dealing with the fatigue of everything.

EDIT: No I did not even finish that paragraph but I just got news. I GOT INTO WEST LONDON. It's the 4 year programme with a foundation year but I'm not complaining. West London. As in the London College of Music, holy shit. I'll leave the post as it is now. Next post is coming.
